7 seasons I've got a lot to get through! 

I've seen a few great shows, over the years and this one is falling right in line with all of my top favorite TV shows of all time! (And I'm not even completely done with season1 yet!)

I'd have to say some of the best shows of all time that I have seen are the following:

Prison Break. 4 seasons. So sad when it ended so quick! 

Dexter

8 seasons. Cop slash Blood Spatter Analyst. Doesn't get much better than that as a story line!

Breaking Bad. 5 Seasons. 

Chemisty Teacher slash drug maker. 

The Wonder Years

6 seasons. This is my all time top favorite show that I have ever watched. Not sure anything else can ever come close! 

Brothers and Sisters 

5 seasons. 

I'm a sucker for anything with Rob Lowe. It's mainly the reason I watched this one! 

I'm only listing shows that have ended. There are about 4 that I am currently watching now but haven't gotten the axe just yet!

And the Voice is..

Before I get to the winner, can I just say how awesome it was to see/hear/watch Christina Aguilera (MY FAVE) share the stage with the queen diva herself, Lady Gaga?

What does that one commercial say? Oh, It was AMAZEBALLS. Haha! 

I was shocked that such powerhouse voices did such a collaboration!



I had to cut out 30 min early last night to go to bed, so I actually didn't get to watch live who won. Which is kind of a joke, because being in a different time zone, it really isn't "live" as they say. That's annoying. Anyhow, I purposefully didn't log on to ANY social media so I wouldn't read or hear who won. Just from turning the TV on this morning to watch the last few min on DVR the news was like "AND THE WINNER OF THE VOICE IS" and I started to say "LA L A LA " very loudly so they wouldn't spoil it for me!

I also really liked this performance by all the boys. I am still wowed by Matthew and Preston's voices. 

And hello Celine Dion and Ne-Yo. I cannot stop listening to "Incredible" on spotify. I am hoping Celine is back! I bought her new CD for my Grandma for X mas this year! 

Even though I voted for Jackie Lee, I think everyone knew that Tessanne Chin was the clear winner from the beginning, as she proved with her amazing powerhouse Voice. 

Who did everyone else want to win? 

And the AMAs get Political...

Taylor. Justin. Taylor again. Justin again. And again.

Did anyone else win anything that night? Seriously. LOL The top two winners all night long were Miss Swift and Mr. Timberlake.

I kinda freaked out when I DIDNT see Justin Timberlake's wedding ring during his performance. I started tweeting of anyone else noticed, but I think what it came down to was that he didn't wear it while he plays guitar. When he won 2 more awards that night, it was back on his finger. Whew! I was worried there was trouble in paradise!

Taylor looked AMAZING. I'm pretty sure the fact that Gold is so hot right now really helped her achieve her hotness.

Speaking of Hotness. Can we talk about my girl Christina Aguilera? She looked and sounded amazing singing last night. I'm so glad they saved her towards the end.

I'm an avid "The Voice" watcher, and I am so cheering for her team this year. I really hope Matthew wins it!

And these guys just had to jump in and stir things up by talking about racial profiling. UGH.

They seem to forget that our jury system acquitted Zimmerman based on evidence. If Martin had been white and Zimmerman black it would have never even made the headlines. No matter who is at fault or regardless of how ANY of us feel, the jury voted to acquit. I'm pretty tired of this tragedy being made into a race issue and it's quite sad that the headline grabbers won't let it go. And in the words for Forrest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that."

Making a statement more than that, move over Miley.

Your strange cat behind you really didn't "Shock" audiences. I'll give you the weird factor yes, but shock value went to Miss Gaga and R. Kelly.

CMAs gone and done it again!

I just LOVE watching the CMAS. I said this last year and I'll say it again. Other award shows need to take a lesson from the country music industry. They act like family and are so kind towards each other. Every time someone won an award, they were getting up out of their seats to thank one another with hugs and handshakes!

So let's jump right in to my mini recap shall we?

Everyone and their mother talks about Carrie's LEGS. If you recall, I blogged all about her legs a year or two ago. You can get the 411 on how to attain those legs HERE. Yes we know they are awesome. But it's rather tiresome to hear how half of my twitter feed and FB feed were comments like, "Doing squats now!" Really? Like 50 squats in between commercial are going to get you Carrie Underwood's legs? It was posted long ago her work out regime and I can tell you one set of squats a week ain't it! Not to mention DIET is huge for her and she pretty much DOESN'T eat all the things us food loving folks consume because we enjoy the sugar cookie or pasta more often than not. Just sayin! So before we all wallow in wishing for something that is quite hard to attain, think before you speak! :) Do some research!

Now can we talk about 2 other ladies who I thought looked FABULOUS!!?!

Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland looked AMAZING for just having a baby. I really hope her band gets going on some new material! Love them so much!

My best dressed award goes to Kimberly from The Band Perry.

What a knock out! Want to talk about another lady who is totally trim and leaned out? Did y'all see her arms?!?! I say she is just as toned as Carrie Underwood! She had the prettiest hair too!

The other positive thing from twitter and the CMAS was I didn't read any mean or negative comments about the awards or the presenters. 

I think the only thing remotely not nice that people commented on was how skinny Tim McGraw looked, and I have to agree, it does make him look older.

And sweet Taylor Swift. I AM SO HAPPY she won again and I love that Brad and Carrie said at the very beginning how much they support and applaud her for keeping her clothes ON! I think the exact words were for "Not dressing up like a bear" or "licking a hammer" (in reference to Miley's antics) She graciously laughed and smiled in the audience and said "you're welcome!" haha

Haters gonna hate, but she sells records y'all and WRITES every one of her own songs. She has a lot of drive and passion and I say kudos to her! 

Lastly this guy

George Strait. 

I think some people were upset by his win at the end. Really? All the nominees work hard. But let's get something straight (no pun intended) George is currently on tour for the LAST time. He's also had over 60 number one songs. and has more No. 1 hits than any other artist in ANY genre. THAT is the definition of Entertainer of the Year.

Fall's hottest TV Shows

Last year I blogged about how much I was loving Sarah Michelle Gellar's show called Ringer, and then it suddenly got cancelled! 

The good news is that she is returning back to tv and her co star is Robin Williams. Shut the front door! I nearly fell off my chair. Seriously who better to have on a funny tv show than the funny man himself!

Next up, another former TV/movie star returning to television, Michael J. Fox starring in the Michael J Fox show!!! And the lady who plays his wife is the lady who played Hank's wife in Breaking Bad!

I am really excited that he's returning to TV, proving a point that he is going to BEAT his illness and not let it get the best of him! :) 

And of course, I am still watching Homeland (only shown on Showtime) season 3 looks great!

My Summer Series

So each summer I try to watch a TV show's whole series.  Last summer I watched Friday Night Lights and Lost. The summer before that I think it was The Wonder Years (which I actually own on DVD)

This summer, as of yesterday, I watched all six seasons of Party of Five.

I absolutely LOVED and still love that show. I think I was so drawn to it, since it was filmed from 1994-2000 my prime "teen" years. I related most to the character of "Claudia" played by Lacey Chabert. In real life she is the same age as me, and as her character on TV she was 11, in 1994 I was only 2 years older so I seemed to gravitate towards her.

The house is one of my all time favorite TV houses.

Speaking of famous houses, apparently down the street is another famous house. The house that was used in Mrs. Doubtfire!

I've never been to San Fran, but as most tourists, these 2 houses as well as seeing the "Painted Ladies" are on my list of places to see!

Bachelorette Recap!

She sent Brandon home! Noooo! 

I was so sad when she did, but you can't force something that just isn't there. Poor guy, he fell hard and fast in all the wrong ways for Desiree' and there was no stopping him.

Anyone viewing on TV could totally see when he kissed her, she was just not "feeling" it. Trouble is he couldn't seem to see what everyone in America was seeing!

Moving on,

douchebag Brian with the girlfriend who came on national television to dog him. We've seen this before on previous seasons, have we not? 

Let's take a walk down memory lane shall we?

If memory serves me correctly these knobs all had girlfriends while trying to be on the show!

Remember this guy from Ali's season? 

Justin Rego, the wrestler on the show who goes by the lame nickname “Rated R.”  He SO totally had a girlfriend!!

And we can't forget Frank from that same season since he "wasn't feeling Ali" towards the end of their run due to still having feeling for an ex girlfriend. 

There are actually more to this list, but I'll leave it at that for now.

Rumor has it that a fella right now on Desiree's season is going to pull a Frank and bail on her because of a girl back home...Hmmmm...

Golden Globes #1 Best Dressed is....

Hands down my favorite gown/look of the night for the Golden Globes was Shawn Robinson.

All these blogs have been talking about the color Emerald being the "it" color this season and I think Shawn nailed it!

I'm probably the only blogger that will pick her but I just thought her dress was so appropriate for her age and she just looked so classy and well put together.

And I realize that Anne Hathaway lost a ton of weight for her role in Les Mis but seriously girlfriend, the movie wrapped a while ago, why you still look like you haven't eaten in days?

Her head looks to big for her body!

And Claire. I think she looks amazing every year. Boy has that girl really come far since her So Called Life Days, no? 

And I'm sure everyone has Jessica Alba on her list, as do I! 

I LOVE the color CORAL. She pulled it off spectacularly! 

Hubba Hubba New Bachelor Season!

With the Football game being such a blow out last night, I immediately flipped just in time to watch ABC's the Bachelor. I have been waiting for the new season so patiently!

sean seems like one of thee most genuine guys that the show has ever had on. I even read online that at the very end of this he didn't go to the fantasy suite with either final contestants! holy smokes! 

Was super suprised to see that he and Arie have maintained being friends, considering they were each other's final competition with Emily Maynard. Dear sweet Emily, are you kicking yourself right now? You should be! 

Okay on to the DUDS of the show aka the girls that there is no way in heck he'd end up with:

Fifty Shades booty shaking girl. Seriously?! What guy has read those books and why on earth did you keep referring to them as if he knew what the heck you were talking about?!

Weird!

Organizer girl....Um yeah that could make or break a husband I think. Not thinking she's the one for Sean! 

Selma. Just not his type. Gorgeous face but that's about it.

Girl in the mermaid dress aka "I'm Barbie hi Ken" girl. BLAH. Superficial! 

Girl who fell over in her dress doing flips. You are an idiot. Nuff said. 

Okay on to girls that I liked!

Kelly the southern belle from TN that sang to him. She's purdy!

Taryn. I just like her simply for the fact that she knows NOTHING of the show and or Sean's season last time. Some times no preconceived notions are good! 

Sarah (the beautiful girl with sadly one arm) I was cheering for her. She seriously seems like such a sweet heart.

Tierra. Said all the right things just enough to really make a good impression on Sean. Well Done!

Well what did y'all think? And how about Kacie B making a debut return for Sean? I don't think he'll go for her. Judging from his few min of letting us know that they had "hung out" before she's in the friend zone and staying there.

Sean's The Word...

ABC officially announced that Sean Lowe is our next Bachelor! Y'all know how I was goo goo gah gah for this guy! Filming has already began, and it won't air till January 2013! 

Hope he finds his match! 

In other TV news....

I cannot wait till Sunday!!!! Feels like FOREVER since I saw the last episode of REVENGE!!

Also got word that Hart of Dixie will be back on TUESDAY a new night starting on October 2nd!

In other "news" 

It was the first time in SEVEN years I've ever had one of THESE in my house...

Thank GOD my husband was home so when I came downstairs at 5:30 AM and started screaming, he was there to help! 

Yes, I live in AZ. Yes, scorpions are common. But, NOT IN MY HOUSE they aren't! I've NEVER lived somewhere in the last 7 years where I had one get in so to speak. Now I'm totally freaked and paranoid because well this critter was INCHES from Aspen! How my sweet little Lovie didn't see it or get up to investigate it is BEYOND me. I have no idea how much venom these guys carry and what I would of had to do had she gotten stung. 

I tried to get her to sleep upstairs with the hubs and I, but it's just still to warm and she prefers sleeping on the cool kitchen floor. 

Thus, it's 1 am as I write this post because I cannot SLEEP because I was laying in bed worrying about my dog! 

Husband agreed to have our home sprayed (which most AZ people have done out here anyway) Whew! 

BP3 Finale

Most of you followers know I'm a die hard Bachelor fan.

Bachelor Pad 3 last night ended, and holy cow I was so shocked how it ended!

So happy for Blakely and Tony who got engaged! She deserves a real GOOD GUY and I think Tony is a great fit for her! 

They should totally have a show where all the Bachelor/Bachelorette Contestants are all together and they get to chose who they want to date, since they all never seem to end up with their final picks but rather with ppl from other seasons! LOL

I felt really bad for Rachel Truehart. The whole drama with Michael S. really messed with her. But as a woman, I mean haven't most of us been there at one point in our lives where we let a stupid boy mess with our judgments and feelings? Poor girl really did her self in, and thus I don't blame Nick keeping the money for himself. 

I love Rachel's hair! Her bangs remind me of ME! Bangs for life...lol  can never seem to grow them out all the way! :( 

I'd write about all the others, but they are all small potatoes compared to the engagement and Rachel not getting a penny on the show.
