Real Celeb Heartbreak

Jennie Garth. She’s one of the very, very few celebrities I admire because of her integrity.

My heart goes out to her. 

Last night I watched her new show called "A little bit Country." And for the first time on the show, she really opened up about Peter, her husband for over 11 years, and the heartbreak he has caused. 

Watching the video, you call just see how much this has torn Jennie apart. For one thing, she hacked off her hair, you can see she's gained some weight, and she drinks a bit to cope with the pain. 

ALL REAL EMOTIONS that REAL people go through and deal with every day. It was so raw watching her spill her guts about how much she STILL loves him even though he was the one that wanted to end the marriage. 

They were both quoted saying this only a few short years ago:

Making the most of life's unexpected twists has been a hallmark of the couple's relationship. They fell in love on the set of the TV movie "An Unfinished Affair," and Garth discovered she was pregnant just nine months later.

 "We had a baby very quickly," says Garth. "It was a crazy time and it would've been easy to throw in the towel, but Peter taught me that you have to stick it out." They were married in 2001. "We've been in a relationship for more than 11 years now. It's like winning an Oscar, it's huge. We dont' take it for granted." says Facinelli: "marriage requires work. It's when you push through those tough times that your relationship goes to the next level and you fall even deeper in love." 

So what the frick happened right?

Some say it had everything to do with TWILIGHT and Peters instant fame through the saga. 

Some say Jennie grew jealous over this fame, since she hadn't been in a successful TV show since "What I like about you". Her fame and glory days were clearly behind her, his were just taking off. 

Just from reading and seeing what I saw on the video. I honestly DONT think Jennie is jealous of her husband's fame. She was so upset choking out how much she still loved him and was struggling with the concept of why wasn't she "enough" for him.

Heartbreaking right?

I do think his latest bit of fame from Twilight had a ton to do with why he chose to leave.

I applaud both of them though. They even went through some very vigorous counseling for over a year to try and save their marriage. 

This is one hollywood marriage that was kept pretty private for so long, and sadly just didn't work out.

Happiness Is

A few of you have noticed or tweeted to me I changed my Blog title!

To be quite honest, I was really tired of seeing TONS of blogs that have the following words in the title: LIFE LOVE LIVE. LIVE LOVE LIFE. LIVE LAUGH LOVE. Hence "Live what you love" wasn't really standing out with all these others way to close titles!

Is "Happiness Is" my title FOR EV ER? Not 100% sure on that either. But for now, as my dad would say,

"it is what it is."

I haven't shared any of my favorite comics in a while, so here are a few that I even forwarded to Mister Wonderful. :)

Speaking of love....
A few weeks ago when Mister Wonderful went up to Sedona for a long weekend of hiking with the boys, I was of course missing him, and decided to make him a little "note" telling him how much I love him! (although I'm not quite sure that the gift was more for him than it is more for our wall where it currently hangs hahah)


I was blog hopping as I often to, and stumbled upon a blog called Me Oh My (ironically this is pretty dang close to my twitter name of My Oh My!)

Her blog is here. I first noticed she has a daughter with one of my fave names Presley!!! :) love it!

Anyway, on one of her home tour pics, I totally fell in love with her little framed picture on their mantle. I emailed asking if she'd be willing to sell or make me one like she did for her hubby! I wasn't able to get a response, so I just decided to make my own version of it.

Sorry for the pic being kinda dark, MW was sleeping and So I took this picture in the dark! It hangs in our bathroom! :) Did you catch the word LOVE? It's the same design that I had in my old (former) blog title :)

Date Night!

I waited a few days to post this whoops! My bad!

So Mister Wonderful and I FINALLY went out on a Friday night date! It's been so long just simply due to previously Mister Wonderful's schedule made him work so late on week nights!

At one of our really nice upscale outdoor malls, they show for 2 months movies on the lawn. (only two months because the rest of the year is to dang hot and the other nights are too cold! That's AZ for ya)

I have told Mister Wonderful this date, is one of THE BEST dates a guy could ever take me out on.

I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking...


The new DSLR made it out on the date as well hehe finally right!?!

These two pictures of me, Mister Wonderful took. I gave him a quick lesson on my new camera. Although I must say, on AUTO a beginner can't go wrong in taking a bad picture! 

So one of the best parts about this date, this outdoor mall is that it's VERY PET FRIENDLY!!!!!

Think I'm kidding!? Nope. Dogs are allowed in EVERY STORE...including stores such as Sax Fifth Ave, Macys...etc etc

So naturally Aspen joined us! :) 

Then, out of the blue, this really nice random stranger lady sitting next to us, offered to take our "family" picture together! 

 Someone was starting to get really HUNGRY....

Luckily.........

As I snapped this picture of MW, the food arrived on the table! 

We had to chose a dinner with no meat since it's Lent and it was a Friday night date!

Then it was onto the big open grassy area to get ready for the big movie!

Someone wanted dessert and another someone wanted some of that dessert! (I'm sure she thought it was a frosty paw) 

So anyway, the movie they showed was called "It Happened One Night" starring Clark Gable. 

And for anyone that doesn't know, this is obviously an older film (black and white) and Mister Wonderful had said how he couldn't believe how funny older films are packed with humor! :) We had a good time our our blanket amongst strangers and their dogs,kids, food etc etc. 

Recognize this jewelry? it's the one I ordered on Ebay via Emily Maynard wore on the Bachelor. 

Yep def a fave of mine ( although on the show she didn't sport the bracelet or earrings)

Well kids. That's it. Any of you have places that allow you to take your dog with to dinner and the movies? :)

I would love to know how many of you own a pair of TOMS?

 Are they worth the money? How much do they "stretch" as I have read reviews? I usually wear a 9.5 in all my shoes cept sneakers and boots I take a 10.  I LOOOOOOOOOVE the yellow....when I saw the girl in the video I thought oh my! I love the yellow TOMS!
