C h i c a g o

You never quite realize as a kid, what is privilege it is to grow up in such an expensive area. Clearly as a teen, I had no clue how much my parents shelled out for us to live there. All the tolls you have to pay every time you drive on the highway, all the parking on the street, the metra tickets to get downtown.....

Anyhow, I was super excited to visit my childhood hometown, simply because when I grew up there, the famous BEAN sculpture did not exist!

If you are like me, staring at oodles and oodles of other peoples vacation photos can get old fast, so I am going to do my best to only share "the best" and keep it short sweet and to the point! :)

  6. Glad you had a good time vacationing! I do wonder though...where was the inspiration for the giant bean sculpture! Did someone just go one day, "you know, I l think a giant mirrored bean would just look great out in Chicago" :D It's a mystery!
