Back at the recycling projects again!!!
4th Grade just completed their tin rockets, and are now doing another soda can project.  Today was the first day of cutting the can into a flower, and painting the metal petals.  Next week they cut leaves and I hot glue the stem for them!

 

As January comes to a close, my 2nd graders are just now completing their winter cardinals.  I am so proud of them with how they all turned out!!

So my latest obession is with the show ABC's the Bachelor.....I mean hello have you seen the man for this season!!?  If not, look below!

Hubba Hubba!!! Can I just say he is all I have ever looked for in a guy!!?! haha No seriously...for all my friends that constantly ask me what I look for in a guy, Jake, this season's Bachelor, is it! From looks, to career, to his softer side, I heart it all!

as for the ladies that are competing....

I hope he picks Tenley or Ally....

No art to post today, my students haven't created anything in 3 wks because of X mas break!  I still have X mas stuff hanging in the halls till they create new art to put up!

I started washing my hair with that WEN hair care and I have to say I am HOOKED and will never ever buy another shampoo or conditioner or any hair product other than hair spray ever again!!!! Not sure like I was? buy a bottle on E Bay and you'll find yourself saying OMG throughout the day about how awesome your hair will be!

Today my 5th graders that were suppose to have art didn't show up bec we had an assembly.  SO...........I had some free time on my hands.........tee hee.

Well that's all folks......time to head in to my second job...UGH aka waitressing.....

My good friend Kim took these pictures on our last get together...I asked her even though she is a wicked super busy photographer these days plus busy being preggo with baby #2!  I just wanted one good shot for a Christmas card to send out to my folks!  Most of the time it's easy to take pics of yourself on a tripod, but when there is a dog, it's usually best to have someone else take the pics!

 

Well, today was the last day of school before Christmas break....I don't know what  I am going to do with 3 whole weeks off of school with no where to go this holiday!  This will be my first year not seeing my family over the holdiays out of my entire life!

Today my 3rd graders finally finished their giant snowmen, and I was able to make a decent wall display up in the office.

4th graders got their first holiday art project done in one class period thankfully.  They made bulbs up close on a christmas tree.  The bulb was painted in watercolor paints, and the tree was painted in tempera paints.  They turned out just great!

Here are the tin angels that my fifth graders just made this week in art. Super cute and it's a go green holiday!

 

Here is a kindergartener's fall tree made out of puzzle pieces and card board and teared construction paper as the grass. 

So my 3rd Graders made paper moccasins and they turned out fab!!

My first graders made their classic Turkey with paper feathers.  With all the recycling projects we had been making, we had time to squeeze these 2 T giving art projects in!

Kinder's did a fab job mixing their colors to create orange....Check out the student that made braces on their pumpkin's teeth!!! Cracks me up!!
