T W O Movie Reviews
Last night MW and I watched this movie. It was very reminiscent of "The Breakup" and wasn't a bad movie, just
We also saw in the Theater, The HANGOVER Part II
Gotta lay it out there and be flat honest with you.. It was Funny, but expected funny...like you were sitting there watching kinda knowing what was going to happen. Was it worth seeing in the theater for nine dollars? Eh yeah for the most part.... it was nice to get out and see it. Is it one I will own on DVD like the first one? Nah.
Feel the same way about the Hangover! Watched it tonight... and we were just sitting there expecting to laugh and know what each character was going to do :)
ReplyDeleteI saw the Hangover 2 and found it better then the first. But this is probably because they were in Thailand and I enjoyed the scenery and cultural references. I didn't go in expecting much - and left pleasantly surprised. Plus Z-Gaf.cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteI think that's the key- not expecting much. I always have to laugh when movie critics give this type of film such low ratings, like they're comparing it to Titanic, or Gone With the Wind or something... It's not supposed to be cinematic gold guys - it's just supposed to be brainless silliness. Thanks for the review- I think I'll wait for the dollar show.
ReplyDeleteWe saw The Hangover Part II yesterday and I felt the same way -- it was fun, but I doubt I'd buy it on DVD when it comes out. I didn't mind looking at Bradley Cooper though!
ReplyDeletehavent seen The Truth Hurts nor Hangover..gosh Im not even sure when will I be able to go see a movie with hubby again since baby girl is way too young :( I think i would enjoy the Hangover II better then the first one just because they are in Thailand :D
ReplyDeletei've heard that a lot about hangover 2, bummer!
ReplyDeleteAGREE ON hangover 2! We saw it on vaca and it was forced comedy at times. We liked it but not as good as the first one for sure!!!
