In Kinder, I was teaching them by directional draw, how to draw a cow. Of course we talked about what cows give us (milk, hamburgers) and then this little blurb occurred in one of my 3 sections of kinder.
Me: "Does anyone know where the milk comes from on a cow?"
Kindergarten kid: "The vagina!!!!!!"
(silence then giggles and followed by a few "EWWWWWWWS"
Me: (thinking oh gosh, what do I say in response) "no they come from the utters"
Kindergarten kid " oh those milky things" as he demonstrates in the air the motions of how a person would pull on the utters to milk the cow.
Yep, just another day in the art room!
My 3rd graders are wrapping up the year with a lesson on foreground, middle ground, back ground via drawing hot air balloons
Lastly, my fifth have been making concentric circles. So far, they are quite lovely.
Happy Middle of the week hump day everyone!
Isn't working in a school great? The amount of funny stories you can gather in a day's time is amazing! :)
