So this idea as been on pinterest since before X mas, and I had to wait till school resumed because I had NO GLUE to apply the glitter to my key except in my classroom!
Pretty great y'all. I LOVE the final product.
Step 1 was to apply good ole Elmers Glue to the key.
Step 2
Shake glitter onto key.
Let dry for a hour.
Repeat steps 1 &2 for the back side of the key
One might ask, how do you keep the glitter from coming off the key?
SEAL it with nail polish top coat sealer!
Works like a champ!
Martha Stewart's glitter is fantastic! There were so many color choices!
Speaking of nails, in case y'all were noticing them, I actually did them myself!
Couldn't show up to school with my ring bling and let my fellow teachers see my never painted nails! hehe
I love this idea! The boyfriend gave me a set of keys to his place (woot!) and one is to get into the building and the other is to get into his place but they look almost identical! I see this being a big help! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea!!!!!!! I'm going to do this!!! I think this is something I can actually do and make it look pretty! Not screw it up! HAHA! And your nails look awesome! I did the same thing last year when I got engaged...even though I just had a mani, I went back and had another one the day before school :)
