Saw It. Pinned It. Did It.

I was so excited when I pinned this on Pinterest. I finally had some time over my 2 week winter break to actually make a craft for ME and not my students! :)

Linking up with Katie over @ Keep Calm and Carry On for her Saw It. Pinned It. Did It. Link up!

Here's the original pin

Pinned here

So what you'll need for this:

Yard Stick ( I got mine from Home Depot 68 cents!)
Hot glue sticks/glue gun
Wine Corks
It took me I think 43 corks!

I'll probably leave my X mas cards up as the display till February rolls around then change it up with other items I can tack up!

  2. Love this idea! Esp with all of the flat cards people are sending out for Xmas--they don't really stand up on their own without being pinned to something or leaned against something. I might have to make something like this for our place.

  5. Such a great Christmas idea, and different! It'd be neat to keep around to hang up birthday cards, anniversary cards, etc, etc. Love it!

  9. I love this idea! Too bad I tend to gravitate toward wine in a box or with a screw top. #classy

  11. Love it!!! I tried making magnets out of corks and hated them - they weren't very functional, but now I have a new idea to use all those corks for :)

  12. Looks so good girl and I love the use of the wine corks. They make it so much better than anything else! ha ;) I have so many wine corks that I need to use but can't find a project I'm in love with (decor wise) for them. I guess I'll keep waiting!

  16. Just came across your blog as I was searching for updates about the Top Gun house. You seem like such a level-headed down to earth young woman with great values. I'll be following you!
