Purse Debate

I'm so torn! I am in DIRE need of a new handbag, and I LOVE this purse, but am having a hard time picking which color?

I guess in my mind, I see Gray as the more practical option---goes with all outfits?

Teal, (Mint) which ever you prefer, is such a hot color right now. I have 3 dresses that are all mint, I am worried once summer passes, that I can't carry the teal around as much?

Which should I get?

  1. I would go with the grey if you're worried about the teal. And, you're right, the grey will go with virtually anything, whereas the teal might not. I'd choose the more versatile one :)

  2. I was thinking the same thing about the gray...that it would go with more and could be used throughout the year, etc. But I think the teal/mint would give your outfit ensemble, whatever it may be, a pop of color.

  5. As much as I am in love with the color mint right now, I have to say grey. I purchased a grey handbag a year or so ago and it is hands down the most versatile piece that I own.
good luck deciding! You can't go wrong with either!

  6. I really like the mint/teal a lot, but I do think that grey would be more practical. What a cute purse!

  8. Honestly, I typically go neutral, but that summery teal is my IDEAL color. I actually really want that purse now...

  9. love them both! I think the gray would be better for season to season, you could always tie a little teal or yellow handkerchief or something on the gray one too!

  13. I say teal! I worried about that last summer when I purchased a bright yellow purse since it was "fadish" but I am still using it and I STILL get compliments on it all the time. People don't really notice when it doesn't match your outfit and it's fun :)

  15. I have it in the shark, and I could not be happier! Since it was a pretty pricey bag (for me) I didn't want a trendy color I wanted something that I got tired of!

  16. I LOVE both of these! Who makes them? I have a teal purse and I just love it and make it work with so many outfits. But I think the grey is probably more practical.....just get the one you LOVE!

  17. Gray...I think you'll be happier with it in the long run!

  18. The summery teal one is gorgeous and fun. The gray one is chic and is an all time classic, you can pair it off with just about any outfit. I'd go for the gray one.

  21. Love them both - I would say it depends on the price...if it's going to be a big purchase, I would definitely go with the gray - it's gorgeous AND practical, timeless, and great for all seasons!

  23. For practical, I'd get the gray :)

  24. Gray all the way...not only is it more practical but it reminds me of Shades of Grey :)

  25. It depends on what kind of purse girl you are...do you carry a purse for months on end or do you regularly switch them out? The gray is that perfect shade of gray; the light shade makes it appropriate for any season. The teal is more fun, though. I think you might be surprised with all of the pieces you could pair the teal with, actually! The other factor, for me, would be cost -- when you think about how much you'll use each of the bags, is one significantly less expensive per use? Either way, you can't go wrong!!!

  26. Teal! I got a coral purse a few years ago and although I have to pack it away in late August or early Sept, I love it and pulling it out every year makes me so happy! Besides, you could totally rock the teal in the fall with the right stuff. If you get the grey and will look at it, always wishing you got the teal, get the teal. :)

And I totally pinned this bag! I have been obsessed with it! I want it but cant bring myself to purchase.

Something you can use year round!

  31. I like the teal. You can wear it in the spring and summer. And IMO it would work in the winter? And you could wear it with black/white outfits at the very least?

I wanted to let you know about a great giveaway from Shabby Apple that I'm hosting right now! Hope you enter!
