I saw this and thought I should really see how many I've "read" on this list. I left a few unmarked, as I have only seen the movies, not read the books (Such as Little Princess and Breakfast at Tiffanys etc etc)
Have to say that To Kill a Mockingbird and Jane Eyre are my faves to date. As a child I LOVED Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, and of course Little House on the Prairie!
What have you read on this list?
I'm such a bookworm!
The Catcher in the Rye was one of my favorite required reading books in high school! And the Great Gatsby and To Kill a Mockingbird were great too!
ReplyDeleteAnytime Anne of Green Gables is on a marathon on PBS, it makes me completely useless because I can't help but watch!
My two boys call my mom "marme" instead of grandma, because to me, that name epitomizes the female matriach. Love Little Women. My other faves from this list: anything by Fitzgerald and Salinger (and read The Perks of Being a Wallflower for a modern look). Been following your blog for a while, but rarely comment; the book worm in me had to! Have a great weekend!

Hi, I'm a new follower to your blog and I'm really glad I found it. I love to read and this list is amazing, I've read a few on it and my fave is definitely Little Women!
ReplyDeleteI talk about books a bit on my blog too so if you're keen you should check it out. Looking forward to checking out your other posts :)

The first thing you must read on this list is Pride & Prejudice. One of my all-time favorite books. Once youve read it, Netflix the BBC version of the movie with Colin Firth. Then watch Bridget Jones Diary. Then thank me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Xoxo,
Taryn
Unfortunately, I've seen far more of these movies than read the books! BUT I'm so glad you posted this list, because I WANT to read more, just have to find the time! Have a great weekend!
