Wish List (non christmas edition)

I wish...

That I knew how to do this...
My mom was the sewer of the family. Majority of my childhood outfits were handmade by her. They were dang cute too! I loved to cross stitch as a younger girl, and I loved Home Economics in middle school where I sewed my first stuffed animal!

Sadly, I never kept up with this "hobby" and after my mom passed away, there was no one to continue the lessons.  I've often joked with my best friend that if Michaels offered Sewing classes that we should so totally sign up!

I wish...

I'd not hate cooking so much, but somewhere along growing up I lost interest. Thank goodness Mister Wonderful loves it, otherwise we'd both be hungry.
I have no explanation for this, I just get bored with cooking. It's the reason why I burn popcorn or throw out macaroni because I boiled the noodles for 2 min to long.

I know, I'm in trouble for the day I have kids right?

hahah...

no way...that's what mister wonderful is for!!! if he makes my lunch now, he'll totally make the future non existent kids a lunch too, right?
bhahahahahahah!

I wish...

I wasn't so terrible at math. The sad fact of the matter is, when a child's teacher says "they ain't gettin it" then get them a freakin tutor. Otherwise they will turn out like me....and still count on their fingers and use a calculator for even the simplest equations!

I wish...

I didn't spend so much of my time in church getting so angry at my supposed fellow church family.
I seriously get so mad for simple things that others do, but I can't help it! It's how I was raised.
Those of you who follow me in twitter hear my rants about how I get PEEED off with ppl that lack the common sense to turn their ringer OFF upon entering the church.

Parents that let their kids come to church in SHORT shorts and baring shirts. Small kids who seriously look like they rolled out of bed.

People that chew GUM are you efffing serious? how do you take communion with a wad of gum in your mouth? #justsayin #disrespectful

People that check their phones during the readings or communion! WTF!!! it's GODS TIME not CHECK THE TIME on the cell!!!

Seriously guys pray for me and my anger! LOL
I pray for myself not to get so upset by these things EVERY Sunday!

I wish...
for lots of things...

but always realize in the end there is a reason why wishes do and don't come true!

  1. I get mad about the same things in church...people come to my church in pajamas all the time and in hoodies/sweats. My parents would kill me if they ever saw me go to church like that!

  2. I wish I was better at sewing! I love to do it, but I need my momma righ next to me!

And I couldn't agree more when it comes to church. People, turn off your cell phones and wear your sunday best! Its 2hrs out of your life! Gessh.

I hate Math. And failed two courses in college. Whopsies. But in my defense they were classes I would never ever end up teaching. It was HARD!

I'm glad the mister likes cooking too :) I hope my mister someday does. If not, we're screwed!

  5. I'm not a chef either, and my Mister Wonderful makes my lunch and my daughter's!! It also gives me a little more get-ready time in the morning. I was so glad to hear you say that, and that I'm not the only one!!

  7. My Mom tried to teach me to sew. I wish I would have tried harder to learn before she passed away.

  8. I wish I knew how to sew as well. My mum and grandma are both fabulous sewers but my mum never has time to teach me and my grandma is lazy/left handed so she is no help. xo

  10. I'm totally with you on the cooking thing. I dont hate it, but I just don't care for it lol. I'm too lazy, I;m constatnly burn things, food doesn't turn out the way I want to, and it's just frustrating and I don't have the patience! Luckily my boyfriend loves to cook, like yours!

  12. I hear ya about the cooking thing. My grandma has owned a restaurant almost my whole life and I want no part of the kitchen. I am getting better about trying stuff out. Thank goodness my husband enjoys to cook!

  13. Oh how I wish I could sew! I was just saying this to my husband today...I mentioned that I just wanted a basic sewing machine. Then, he reminded me that I have trouble sewing on a button by hand...sad! I also live for the crockpot for meals. I really lack in the "wife" department. :)
