This trip is extra special just for the pure fact that My Mister Wonderful got me the ticket and scheduled our flights to arrive in at the same time. Ah yes. You are wondering why not just fly on the same plane right? Mr. Wonderful is in Ohio still, but in 3 weeks he will FINALLY be an Arizona Resident with meeeeee!
Lots of moving yet again for me. I have have moved
It all started here..........
Memphis to be exact. I have always had a fascination with Elvis, and I blame the fact that it's just simply because it's where I originated from! We lived here till I was 4. Then it was off to..........
Although we didn't live here long, in fact I don't even remember the town that we lived in...
Then it was off to....
Enter baby brother being born. haha so much for being an only child! Didn't live here more than a year. We were off to.......
Where I will ALWAYS CALL HOME!!!
...::::SIGH::::.... Man how I miss this place. We lived here till I was 21 or 22 can't remember exactly.. Although we did move 3 times in IL. We moved from the East side of the Burbs to the West side (that sounds so gangsta but really it was just moving from an older area to the new side of town) Then when my mother passed away, and my father remarried, we moved farther down into a new suburb where I finished out HS and then moved away for college!
This is also home............
Home of the.....
This is considered home not only because I went to college here, but because it's where ALL of my family still lives. My dad was the only one to ever move away from his home state, and hasn't looked back. Like father like daughter.
This is home now.....
I am excited that I am leaving Y town to the big city~ 5 yrs in a small town just about did me in! So happy that not only that I get to return to the hussle and bussle of a city, but my Mister Wonderful will be with me too. We will get to grow and learn the area together, since it will be new for us both.
--Note--
I was not a military child. We moved because my dad's job always transferred him to new places for work. When you accept a transfer, you usually get more money plus the moved paid for, thus probably why my mother never complained. So long as her family was taken care of, she was a happy camper.
Holy man that is a lot of moving! I've lived in three states, Illinois, Minnesota and now Wisconsin. I'm itching to get out of the Midwest though!
