She's gorgeous! I loved her hair! The entire time they were interviewing her on the red carpet my mouth was hung open wide in awe of her locks!

I LOVE Toni Braxton but man when will she make a come back!?! It's been FOREVER I miss her sultry voice!

Would someone please explain to me the rage on Sperry shoes?????





First immediate thought when I saw them....they totally look like the moccasin shoes my dad wore when I was younger and that he still wears!!!!!

How do you wear them? I mean they look like Boating shoes. Like, you should only be wearing them if you OWN a boat, are going to be spending some serious time in a dock...etc etc.

If I had to pick a pair, these are kinda cute!

So case in point, why are people rushing out to wear/buy these if you don't live near water???

I bought this on a whim, thinking it would be great for a change, well the big change was Mister Wonderful entering my life, and thus we got a King Size bed instead! the comforter has never been put on a bed, just taken out of the box, which was probably dumb on my part bec I should of just sent it back. But nooooooooooooooo typical C Mae fashion, I wasn't thinking.

Blue Valentine Not a Couples movie!

Since Mister Wonderful is in Vegas with his fam ( I had to work all week with no sick days left so I couldn't go with him) I decided to go and see Blue Valentine alone.

Let me first tell you right away this is NOT a movie you go see with your husband/wife boyfriend/girlfriend!!!!

Why do I say this? The whole film is about how Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling's relationship/marriage becomes unraveled and fall out of love. Yeah be my guest if you think that's a good idea to go and take your man to see! ha!

The movie was VERY VERY VERY graphic and had lots of nudity and sex scenes. UGH! Michelle Williams bares all (her chest and her ass) which I didn't really need to see what I already knew--poor girl has some really saggy ta tas!

The movie wasn't slow, but not really all that entertaining..... it was just kinda meh........if you catch my drift. I can tell why it is up for all these awards, but I felt like I was watching Precious!!! (for any of you that have seen that movie that Oprah pushed then you know what I am getting at! minus the incest and violence!)

In a nutshell, see alone or with a gal pal, not with your man~~~~!





On a side note, my apologies for not commenting a lot or even posting a lot lately! All this week I had conferences at school, and thus, no time for anything other than eat sleep walk Aspen! LOL

I bought this because I read a few reviews on Clinique's website that said it helped with broken blood vessels or capillaries on the face. I've been using it now for about 2 weeks. Other than a SUPER smooth face, I haven't really noticed any reduction in these capillaries :( Bloggers if you know of anything out there that works DO SHARE!!! Otherwise I have to pay 1,000 to get a laser from the Derm!

I LOVE oil of olay products. This one is a GREAT facewash. It has this heating element to it too, which I dig. Mister Wonderful even asks to use it sometimes too! Score! Def has helped keep my skin nice and clear and clean!!! 

Pop Art Self Portraits in the Style of Andy Warhol

I haven't posted much of my Fifth and Sixth graders art work. To be quite honest, they are AWFUL compared to my kiddos last year. Guess that is what I get for switching school districts!

The school district that I work for now has pretty low income families. I think their home background life is greatly effecting their behaviors even at school with teachers they are suppose to respect at all times! ha. That doesn't happen.

My fifth grade has a lot of girls with attitudes. BIG TIME. They drive me batty. They are super lazy and I feel like their quality of work is comparable to 2nd graders!

My Three Sections of sixth grade are just downright mean, uncaring, selfish, and just as lazy as my 5th. Only difference is, if they like something we are doing, then I actually do see the effort being put into the project.

Sixth is currently painting themselves in self portraits. They learned all about Andy Warhol The Prince of Pop. My students of course go LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON? Uh no guys. He was the king of Pop MUSIC!! Andy was the prince of POP as in Popular ART! haha hence POP ART!

Linsday Looney Bird Lohan Please go to jail already!

I am SO SICK of hearing about Lindsay Lohan. What a pathetic excuse for an actress. She does nothing. The only good movie I've ever seen her in was Mean Girls. Period. The rest she sucks in. The end.

She's only 24 and she's been to rehab NUMEROUS times and never in the news for anything GOOD. Come on.  She's chubby, then sickly skinny, then Redhead to nasty way overly blonde, to dating guys to having a female girlfriend....ENOUGH ALREADY. I seriously say this won't be anything other than a slap on the hands. We all know You have to not pay your taxes to go to jail ahem Mister Wesley Snipes! haha

My internet connection is AWFUL for some reason and I can barely do anything so my apologies for the short post.



Then I read this on Yahoo this evening.

WHY DO CELEBS EVEN GET MARRIED?!?! Oh that's right FOR PUBLICITY not for love. They make marriage look like a joke and you can just divorce when things get "hard". Oooooh this angers me so much!

Tell It To Me Tuesdays Vol 3

I don't only have one Tuesday tell it to me thing to talk about. It has to do with the touchy subject of Church. I even tweeted about it later on after Church ended!

{1} Why do Women feel the need to carry their purses up to COMMUNION!?!?

So I'm sitting in church realizing I have a lot of Church annoyances. I am beginning to wonder if God is testing me.  Testing my anger and seeing if I'll act out in chuch. Lord knows that I do in public with people and their stupidity. Mister Wonderful I know gets nervous that I have such a short fuse with people and their stupid things they do in public. I am so totally the girl that will lay on the horn if I catch you doing make up in your car not paying attention to the road....

How do I escape these things!?! These awful thoughts how pissed i got when I saw some lady park her stroller with her baby in it in the friggin Aisle of the church!!! Really? who does that? this women did. But today's annoyance isn't about the stupid lady with her parked buggy, or the gum chewers or the lazy ass people that wear JEANS and stupid football jerseys to church. Nope. Today's annoyance is about women that feel the need to carry their purse up to communion. Is this really a B I G deal? eh....I think so. 

You are in the HOUSE OF GOD. Who in their right mind would steal from you if you left your purse in the pew the whole 2 min you walk up to get your communion? I mean really? And these women that have these HUGE bags that set them on the pews leaving no room for others to sit, rather than placing them on the floor have some nerve. Do you not hear your JINGLE of your over bearing keychains rubbing against each other while you walk down the aisle? GRRRRR. Shame on you. Might as well chat on your cell while you are add it. 

For the record, I don't even bring my cell or purse to church. Really what could I possibly need for the whole 40 min I'm there that I should be able to live without? 

This is the only picture I have for you. You'll have to imagine all those cumbersome purses that sit for ten then end up back on women's shoulders as they walk down for communion. I wouldn't dare snap a picture in church. Then I'd really have to hit up Confession. ha. 

Well, Tell it to me. What's your annoyances for today? the week before?

Superbowl Recap!

I cheered neither for The Cheese heads or for the Steelers. First, Green Bay is Chicago's rival not to mention they defeated us to get their bid into the superbowl. Second, Most Ohio peeps hate the steelers esp when you go to college the same time as Ben did in Ohio and thus many-a-friends who knew him back then even said he's a douche bag. aka not a nice guy. Agreed. So thus, I'm not going to cheer on an almost rapist either. What is wrong with Quarterbacks these days!?!? Him, Vick (dog killer) and Brady (guy that left his GF eight months preggo) seriously I think are big jerks!

In case you missed it....My fave Christina Augilera sang our National Athem and I was SOOOOO pumped because well I truly think she is one of a kind with the set of pipes that God gave her.

And then she totally Flubbed the lyrics. ERrrrrr really X tina? You're a what-- 5 time Grammy Winner pro?? And you can't remember the right words to your countries greatest most important song!? Oy!!!!

Well, at least we know she sang it live?

The National Anthem at the Super Bowl is typically pre-recorded, but Christina Aguilera chose to sing it live for the Packers vs. Steelers game on Sunday night... and she probably shouldn't have. Yes, Aguilera messed up the lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner," singing "what so proudly we watched, at the twilight's last reaming" instead of the correct words, "o'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly stream






Then there was the half time show. Was excited for the Back Eye Peas. Then I was more exited as I saw Slash and Usher be our big surprise guests in the middle of the performances.Though Slash's drop-in was a thrilling highlight, Usher's energetic, dynamic performance of "OMG"drove home just what a spectacular song it was. Full of jittery dance beats, a subtly shifting groove and one of Usher's most unusual (but excellent) vocal performances, "OMG" not only dominated pop radio in 2010 but continues to resonate in 2011 as a highly influential track Hearing Fergie sing Axel Rose's solo Sucked. Don't quit your day job Fergie. I'd take Axel over you any day! 


Of course I was wondering where was J. Timberlake!?! If they were inviting other artists on big hit tracks of theirs Where was the love for Justin? haha no pun intended WHERE IS THE LOVE!? (song title to the song/track he is on with the Black Eyed Peas) 

Does anyone else think the Black Eyed Peas should just consist of Fergie and Will.I.AM? I do. The other 2 don't sing. Like at all! hahah

Many of you know I have been desperately trying to save for a new camera...SLR by Nikon. This is no easy task on my teachers salary!!!

Aspen was my inspiration for the photo. To me, before my Mister Wonderful, there was a little face of fluff who is the animal love of my life. She melts my heart, and I just truly believe animals are all we have left (other than babies) that are pure and innocence of heart! :)
