They say a dress says it all. Most girls are most confident being dressed up. Nothing like the swishing of a skirt with heels.
I am crushing on these although being in my profession I can't exactly get much use out of them, nor do Mister Wonderful live lives<----awkward english there, no? that would require me to really wear these anywhere. Oh well.
And this bracelet is just so lovely!

But the real dress to impress were all the ladies on the GOLDEN GLOBES. DID you watch? it was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. I hardly saw any bad dressed celebs (cept for that ugly green frock Angelina Jolie was showboating.)
Here are some pics of ones I could find on the web before the show..
Pink was quite the theme color for many ladies...I loved Claire Danes pink get up too... |
I LOVE olivia wilde's dress. SOOO SPARKLY. She rocked it.
Other glam beauties I liked
Julianna needs to eat. She is beginning to look like Kelly Ripa...way way to thin... |
And that Ugly green frock I mentioned above for Angelina you can see for youself. Green is not so dashing and debonair ladies!
First off, love the first two dresses you chose--my work prevents me from doing too much with my wardrobe, but sometimes I treat myself to a few (non-traditional!) things :)
ReplyDeleteI also watched the Golden Globes...loved Claire Dane, Emma Stone, and Anne Hathaway! I wasn't a huge fan of Natalie Portman's dress...the style was fine, the colors were just a little off in my book.
Have a great week! xoxo {av}
Love these dresses! That pink color is gorgeous and Carrie Underwood always looks stunning!! I'm also swooning over the one shoulder strap (:
ReplyDeleteWow I love that bracelet! So pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all these dresses! I missed most of the Golden Globes but I know they'll be replaying that fashion police show on E!
ReplyDeleteOkay, 4th dress...the sage green one with the bow. I need that, like NEED that. Seriously, I will go somewhere just to wear it! Haha!!
ReplyDeleteI love Carrie! She is always perfect!
I LOVED Lea Michele's dress!! She look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove Ruche! I almost bought that 4th dress last week, they have the cutest dresses!
ReplyDeleteOliva Wilde, presenting, looked drop. dead. gorgeous! I also love Emma Stone as a blonde.. her dress looked beyond perfect on her!!
ReplyDeleteClaire Danes DID look amazing, probably the best I've ever seen her look. Even hubby was impressed. I did a post about this earlier today; most of our likes were the same!
ReplyDeleteThe ladies looked amazing last night, so much fun to watch! I loved the pink dresses!!!
ReplyDeleteI usually love a beautiful green dress, but you are right - this year they didn't win me over! Hated Angelinas!! Looked like a grandma dress and with that body of hers, she so could've pulled off something a little more va va va voom!!
ReplyDeleteThe pinks blew me away this year! Everyone looked so fresh, especially Claire Danes!
ReplyDeleteI thought Anne Hathaway and AMber Riley looked amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteahhh i'm not sure i LOVEd this year's globes and i loved angelina jolies! i just think it was classic and vintage looking and different. but i can see how it isn't everyone's cup of tea-- totally agree with you on emma stone and claire danes though! they looked fabulous.
ReplyDeleteHey! Your blog is pretty awesome. I saw your comment on Chloe Conspiracy but I wanted to let you know that Emma Stone is natch blonde. She's not naturally bleached but Judd Apatow is the director that asked her to go red for Superbad and she's been that way since. Now she's blonde for her role in the Spiderman reboot. I'm pretty much Emma Stone's weirdest fan.
