I give you, the Nutcracker $

My fourth grade classes are drawing their own nutcracker dolls. This is a few from one class that is ahead. So far so good. They never let me down with their incredible effort. I couldn't believe how many kids did not know of the story!!! Seriously parents how do you not read this to your kiddos? So even though they are in the 4th grade, I busted out my copy of the novel (who they call Clara in the story Marie which I hate but what can you do) and read them the story.

I even got a nutcracker doll from Target for $10 so they could draw from real life. More to come....
