I like to have a tan... darn it! I use that same face moisturizer, but I know I should be using like 70 SPF yikes. I have tried a spray tan but it was pretty orange until it faded to a good color. Not the best alternative, but it is sunless.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16678835803511719128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073663667387529623.post-40881631659069463672011-03-18T13:42:35.918-07:002011-03-18T13:42:35.918-07:00i love bare minerals! :)i love bare minerals! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073663667387529623.post-39787406419174658452011-03-18T09:21:47.872-07:002011-03-18T09:21:47.872-07:00Girl you better invest in some good sunscreen! I stopped tanning after my wedding and I hate that my white fat doesn't look as good as my tan fat :) I've been using the Oil of Olay too but I feel like the SPF makes me break out more. I wish tanning wasn't so bad for you...not fair! :( Oh, and have you tried the Jergens lotion? I love it!So shayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10148903162289500377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073663667387529623.post-46644807369880445502011-03-17T18:54:23.871-07:002011-03-17T18:54:23.871-07:00i use bare minerals tanning.. it's fairly natu...i use bare minerals tanning.. it's fairly natural and gives a good all over glow. My college town...I used to be "tanorexic"
My college town opened a new tanning bed and we got gradnfathered in at $20/month, unlimited tanning. I went ALL the time. My mom is Italian, so I tan really easily. After about a year of non-stop tanning, one of my moms friends from work was diagnosed with brain cancer and given 6 months to live. Shortly after the initial diagnosis, she was told that she had a spot of melanoma on the back of her arm (she tanned religiously, like I was doing) and since she hadnt caught it, it had traveled to other places in her body, including her brain. Tanning killed her. It was a really rude awakening that got me to cancel my membership right then and there. I think it takes someone you know getting really sick from skin cancer before you really realize that it CAN happen to you :/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073663667387529623.post-44608250286688388342011-03-17T17:41:15.162-07:002011-03-17T17:41:15.162-07:00I saw your tweets earlier, sorry the doc dished ou...I saw your tweets earlier, sorry the doc dished out this bad news. I'm the same way. I'm addicted to the sun in the summer and spend every spare moment outside, using only 15 on my face. :(Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02939653989946091321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073663667387529623.post-66843120736651498942011-03-17T17:21:38.450-07:002011-03-17T17:21:38.450-07:00Have you tried spray tanning or self tanners you c...Have you tried spray tanning or self tanners you can do at home? If you get a good one it looks really natural and it's definitely much better for your skin. :)

I used to be the same way with tanning, I loved it! I worked at a tanning salon for a while so it was so hard NOT to go a few times a week. I'm also a huge sun worshipper in the summer. I live for days out at the pool soaking up the rays for hours on end...

I don't really know what made me change my sun-bathing ways, but now I'm much more careful about my skin. I always wear sunscreen and I never use tanning beds anymore. That's not to say I don't go out in the sun - I could never do that! haha. I just pay more attention now.

So it's definitely a good thing you went to the dermatologist for your skin - better to be safe than sorry!Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00134554993020171853noreply@blogger.com
